Discover Paward School

Our Philosophy

At Paward School, we firmly believe in the transformative power of dogs. Our school specializes in training dogs to not only be loving companions, but also therapeutic tools for those in need. We have seen firsthand how dogs can help remap human behaviors by absorbing the energy of their handlers and using it to heal anyone in their presence. The bond between a dog and its handler is incredibly strong, and through this connection, dogs are able to sense and respond to their handler's emotions and needs. This unique ability allows them to act as a conduit for positive energy, promoting healing and growth for both humans and dogs alike. Our tone of voice when discussing this topic is one of respect and gratitude for the amazing capabilities of these remarkable creatures. We are passionate about our work and dedicated to spreading awareness about the healing power of dogs.

Our History & Founders History

Founded in 2025, Paward School's founder, Regina Morris, is a highly experienced individual in the field of holistic healing. She has been studying and practicing holistic healing since 2005 and has gained a deep understanding of its benefits. Alongside this, she has also been a coach for gymnastics and has owned two successful gyms in Illinois and Colorado from 1994 to 2019. Her determination and passion for helping people didn't stop there, as she went on to open and manage a family health clinic that offered both Western and holistic options. With her medical education and experience in coaching and homeschooling, she saw the need for an affordable program that could provide children with valuable skills for a lifetime. After three years of thorough research, Regina came across an amazing solution - a program that not only trained service dogs but also helped children with special needs. Her son, Dalton, who was diagnosed with autism and a traumatic brain injury, is now part of the school as a coach and helps train dogs for children who can't participate in the program. Regina's journey doesn't end there, as she is currently pursuing another certificate in coaching for families and kids with autism. Her equine behavioral training education has also given her a unique understanding of how dogs and horses work together, as she has previously trained competition teams for cowboys. Her immense knowledge and hands-on experience shine through in her programs, as her ultimate goal is to not only train dogs but also to help individuals become self-aware and manage their episodes better. The passion and determination in Regina's voice are evident, as she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many through her school.

Our Coaches

At our organization, we take great pride in our Junior Trainer program. We believe that each of our coaches should have a strong foundation in training and working with dogs. That's why all of our coaches are required to go through our Junior Trainer program. This program not only teaches them the necessary skills to become a coach, but also requires them to become a mentor to new students during their externship. We also encourage our Junior Trainers to use their skills to help train other children's dogs who may not be able to participate in our program. Once they complete the program and have assisted with two dogs and trained three on their own, they are eligible to become a Senior Trainer/Coach. This is a significant milestone, and these dedicated individuals also receive a certificate in not just dog training, but coaching for Autistic children as well. Our program is a two-year commitment for those aspiring to become Senior Trainers, and we are proud to see them put their education to work in the field after just one year.
