Junior Service and/or Therapy Paws Training Program

Student Assist in the Training of their dog.

Junior Service/Therapy Dog training program is an incredible opportunity for students to not only learn valuable skills, but also make a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Through a series of training levels, students will work alongside professional trainers to train their own service dog. But that's not all – students also have the chance to become sponsored by the program to assist in the training of children's dogs. This sponsorship not only helps cover a portion of the tuition, but also allows for students to gain hands-on experience in helping others. And after graduation, students can become Junior Trainers, working towards becoming Senior Trainers who can then coach and train on their own. This program not only teaches students the importance of service, but also sets them up for a successful and rewarding career. To qualify student must have graduated from an Intro Junior Level or tested out.

How to get started?

Click below to fill out our intake form to see if you will qualify for the program. If you don’t have a dog your assigned Senior Coach will help you find the breed and right temperament if you need.  Once your intake for is submitted your Senior Coach will be in touch to make an appointment to get you started. If you already have a dog at that time we will make an assessment appointment to test the dog you have to ensure it is qualified to be in the program.  Please email us if you are interested in making your dog a therapy dog as this training in our program is everything minus the tasks training.

Third Party Verification

At Paward, we recognize the importance of third party verification for businesses and landlords when it comes to determining whether a dog is a qualified service dog. That's why, after our team of professionals has successfully trained and graduated a dog from our full program, we make sure to post their picture and qualifications on our page of graduating dogs. This not only serves as evidence of their training and abilities, but also gives businesses and landlords the peace of mind they need when allowing service dogs on their premises. We take great pride in our graduates and want to showcase their achievements to the world.
